Note:
Da Vinci died in Amboise on Loire (France) and was buried in the castle there. The castle was later destroyed (only 25% remains they say) and his remains were lost. The plaque (second photo) used to be a reminder of that. Now they've rearranged the whole thing to look like there is an actual grave. I've read somewhere that they found some remains that could be Leonardo's, so let's just pretend they are.
